About the Workshop
This workshop is designed with the professional trainer and training manager
in mind. It distils Gray Training’s insight into organisational development,
marketing, evaluation design and learner guidance into a three-day highly interactive
learning experience. It provides you with the expertise to:
•
Strategise for the marketing of a learning programme
•
Market your learning programme
•
Strategise to implement a learning programme
•
Implement the learning programme
•
Develop programme evaluation instruments
•
Evaluate learning programmes.
A critical value-add of this learning programme, is that you will leave with
the skill to be able to evaluate learning programmes against company-specific
benchmarks. This means that you will be able to measure your own learning programmes
and external programmes against standards that matter to your company. And
once you are comfortable that the programmes meet these rigorous requirements,
you will have a basket of ideas and tools to use in developing and implementing
a marketing plan for the programme. It’s a set of skills that you can’t
afford to be without.

Methodology
The workshop is run with hands-on activities that build your knowledge and skills in marketing, implementing and evaluating any learning programme starting right back at the curriculum. You’ll master the knowledge working in learning teams and practise different strategising and implementation methods. You then go on to design and develop evaluation instruments that evaluate learning programmes.
You are formatively assessed throughout the course and here you build a platform
of confidence to take back to the workplace. By the time you leave, you will
have produced a complete set of strategies and sets of evaluation instruments
that you can implement in your own workplace. A post-course project completes
the learning and provides you with your portfolio of evidence for assessment.
