About the Workshop
Research - the key to growth and development in South Africa. Research – the key to organisational and individual development. We have been reared in the belief that research is difficult. It is not. Methodology
This is a fully experiential 3-day workshop. You’ll be led through the theory and will then practise what you have learnt. You’ll begin by isolating your own research problems and sub-problems. Then you’ll concentrate on creating hypotheses to test these research problems. Next you’ll concentrate on developing your research methodology. Here the focus is on choosing the right research approach that will guide the development of your research instruments and collection methods. Once your methodology has been bedded down you’ll develop research instruments.
While you are on the workshop, the focus is upon solving your research problem.
You’ll have the opportunity to do this through interactive individual
and group learning activities. The value add offered by the workshop is that
with the help of fellow learners and your facilitator you’ll develop
the blueprint for your own research project. When you leave you’ll be
well on your way to developing your own research project – and to completing
your post-course Portfolio of Evidence.
